DNG (Digital Negative) is an open RAW file standard developed by Adobe. It stores image data from digital cameras in a standardised format that any software can implement without camera-specific SDK licenses.

Does the output contain the original RAW sensor data?

Browser-based conversion produces a DNG/TIFF with developed (demosaiced) image data, not the original Bayer mosaic sensor data. This is a technical limitation of what WebAssembly can achieve. The output opens correctly in all photo editing applications.
